We invite visitors to the 26th Mozart Festival, during which tens of performances and concerts will take place. Viewers will have a unique opportunity to discover stage works of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - the popular operas as well as those rarely played in theatres.

The Mozart Festival, which has been taking place for more than 20 years, is the most important artistic venture of the Warsaw Chamber Opera. This year’s concerts and shows will be held from 23 June to 31 July in the most prestigious locations in Warsaw - the Royal Castle in Warsaw, the Palace on the Isle and the Royal Theatre in the Royal Łazienki, the Seminary Church in Warsaw (Krakowskie Przedmieście 52/54), and in the Theatre of the Warsaw Chamber Opera (al. Solidarności 76b). Tickets will be sold at the ticket offices of the Warsaw Chamber Opera, and via its website.

Operas

During the festival, early operas composed by teenage Mozart will be performed: ”Apollo et Hyacinthus”, ”Ascanio in Alba, La finta giardiniera”, as well as concert operas: ”Die Schuldigkeit des ersten Gebots”, and the later ”Zaide, Idomeneo”, operas performed in the course of one evening: ”L’oca del Cairo”, ”Lo sposo deluso”, ”Der Schauspieldirektor”, and one of the last scores – ”La clemenza di Tito”.

The most popular compositions could not have been omitted either: "The Abduction from the Seraglio”, "Don Giovanni", "Così fan tutte”, "the Marriage of Figaro”, and "the Magic Flute”.

Visitors to the festival will have an opportunity to listen to great vocal and instrumental works of Mozart: "The Coronation Mass” in C major, "Vesperae solennes de confessore”, "Requiem", and the "Great Mass in C minor”.

Mozart for children

The programme includes performances prepared for the youngest audience members and their parents. On the last day of the festival, in the Theatre of the Warsaw Chamber Opera, a Polish-language show for school children (from the age of 7) will be staged - "In the Land of the Magic Flute” according to the "Magic Flute” opera.
