The Royal Łazienki Museum announces that due to high temperatures, the first floor of the Palace on the Isle, the Royal Sculpture Gallery in the Old Orangery and the Zbigniew Prus-Niewiadomski Coach House have been temporarily closed to visitors.

The heat waves have caused a rise of temperatures in the historic Royal Łazienki buildings which are not equipped with air conditioning. With the safety of our guests in mind, from 24 July 2018 until the end of the heat wave, some museum spaces will be closed to visitors. The following areas have been closed: first floor of the Palace on the Isle, the Royal Sculpture Gallery in the Old Orangery, and the Zbigniew Prus-Niewiadomski Coach House in the Museum of Hunting and Equestrianism (branch of Royal Łazienki Museum). On the other hand, the ground floor of the Palace on the Isle, the Royal Theatre in the Old Orangery, the exhibition "ONNA. Beauty, Strength, Ecstasy" in the Officer Cadets School and the permanent exhibitions in the Barracks of the Cantonists in the Museum of Hunting and Equestrianism remain open to visitors. Due to the temporary unavailability of some rooms, the prices of entry tickets to the Palace on the Isle, Old Orangery and the Museum of Hunting and Equestrianism have been halved.
