Nothing happens by chance in the Palace on the Isle. The architecture and unique collections of works of art and murals form an integral whole which makes up the iconographic programme of an Enlightened Philosopher-King.
Strolling through the state rooms and private apartments, we shall discover the importance and rich symbolism of the Palace’s interiors and find out exactly why the King wanted to open the first modern public museum in this special place.
