Visitors are invited to attend the exhibition featuring traditional Ukrainian costumes from the late 19th and early 20th century. Ukrainian film, theatre, television stars, musicians and athletes were photographed wearing them.

The exhibition held in the Open-Air Gallery near Agrykoli street features pictures taken as part of the cultural and educational charity project "Szczerzy". Traditional Ukrainian costumes presented on the photographs are intended to remind the audience of the traditions and symbols of the ancestors and the elements that form the identity of the Ukrainian nation.

The following persons took part in the photo shoot: folk artist Ada Rogovtseva, her daughter – director and actress – Yekaterina Stepankova, and granddaughter, Dasha; singers: Tina Karol and Anna Zawalska; designers: Olena Reva and Natalia Kamieńska; television presenters: Masha Efrosinina, Solomiya Vitvitska, Regina Todorenko, Marichka Padalko and Olha Freimut; Olympic medallist in gymnastics from Rio de Janeiro, Ganna Rizatdinova; musicians: Dmitry Shurov with his family as well as Nata Zhyzhchenko (ONUKA) and Yevhen Filatov (The Maneken).

The project "Szczerzy" has already been presented in the form of a calendar. The sum of 300,000 hryvnias that was earned through the sales of the copies sold in Ukraine and 18 countries of the world has been donated to the Kiev Military Hospital, museums and charities.

The "Szczerzy" project is presented in Warsaw on the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine, on the initiative of the Embassy of Ukraine and the Ukraine Information Centre, with support of the Royal Łazienki Museum.
