The concert of the Sonic Art quartet on Saturday, July 9th, will be the main event of the second weekend of the Sphere of Silence Festival in the Royal Łazienki Museum. The German band, known and appreciated throughout the world, guarantees a real feast of music. Sonic Art will play on the Purple Stage at the Temple of the Sybil at 7.00 PM.  Throughout the weekend both children and whole families can enjoy their time on many activities.

The star of the German weekend at the Sphere of Silence Festival – the saxophone quartet Sonic Art – wins the hearts of international audiences. The band was formed in 2005 and quickly gained popularity and recognition. Musicians of Sonic Art developed their own style and recognizable sound, and they can boast numerous prestigious awards. What is interesting, they almost exclusively play the music composed for a saxophone quartet, very often – composed especially for Sonic Art, and cooperate with the best composers of the contemporary music. This fall, they will enrich their discography with another – already third – album. The team consists of: Ruth Velten, Annegret Schmiedl, Alexander Doroshkevich and Adrian Tully. The concert of Sonic Art in the beautiful scenery of the Royal Gardens will provide exceptional musical and aesthetic experiences.

But the evening concert of Sonic Art is not the only attraction of this weekend. The artists will perform on five festival open-air stages, on Saturday the following musicians will play: Kazzma Brass Quintet, Joanna Mioduchowska, Ortiga Quintet, Natalia Reichert and Alexandra Szlaga. Especially for the youngest music lovers, the concerts in the "Melomaluszki" series will be held in the mornings and the afternoons throughout the whole weekend. From 1.00 PM to 3.00 PM everyone will have a chance to present their vocal or instrumental skills on the Open Stage. It is a unique opportunity to play, rest and encounter with music – which is a great way of spending time with your whole family. A rich musical offer of the festival will be completed by the Chopin Concerts on Sunday, July 10th, during which  Paweł Kowalski i Kacper Tołoczko will perform.

The Sphere of Silence Festival in the Royal Łazienki Museum is held for the fourth time. This year's edition was opened with the weekend of Polish music; the second one is devoted to German music; afterwards come the weekends with the French music (July 16th to 17th) and Spanish music (July 23th to 24th). At the end we can participate in the international weekend (July 30th to 31st).
