The Corner Study

Covered with original panelling, with four doors behind which are two cabinets and a descending spiral staircase leading downstairs. In this room, visitors can admire a mahogany, Empire-style collection of furniture adorned with bronze Herons’ heads. On the mantelpiece of the fireplace, next to a vase with a rectangular goblet made of claret marble, two candelabras made of malachite have been placed (Russia, 1st half of the 19th century). Above the doors hang four French copperplate engravings depicting women (19th century).
