The Antechamber

The room contains a collection of gilded furniture: a sofa, four armchairs (copies of Classicist pieces of furniture, 19th century), as well as a secretary desk with lozenge inlay, on which the bust of an African Man was placed. Above it hangs a cartel-type clock made of gilded bronze (Paris, mid-18th century). On the walls pictures by painters of the European school are shown, including the Grape Harvest from 1829 by George Augustus Wallis.
