Plaster cast of a marble relief from the 5th c. BCE, original in Archeological Museum at Olympia. This is one of the twelve metopes of the temple of Zeus, depictes the Twelve Labours of Heracles. On the relief is shows Hercules holding up the world for the Atlas, so that he can bring him the golden apple from the garden of the Hesperides.
