It is the first Stanislavian interior where upholstery of green silk was used as a background for the prints, which hang symmetrically and densely next to each other. Later, in other royal residences, interiors in which pictures were displayed, were adorned in a similar fashion. The Study displays facsimiles of aquarelles of which the originals belonged to the king and which adorned the interiors of the White Pavilion; at present, they can be found in the Print Room of the Warsaw University Library.
