Join us for the European Picnic which the Royal Łazienki Museum organizes together with the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany on the occasion of the 13th anniversary of Poland’s accession to the European Union.

A wealth of attractions will be proposed to our visitors on 1 May in the Royal Łazienki. On that day, in the Palace on the Isle, the Exhibition of One Painting will be opened; it will feature a work originating from the Dresden State Art Collection (Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden). This will be ‘Ariadne Abandoned by Theseus’ by Angelica Kauffmann, one of the most outstanding painters in the 18th century. The guests of the European Picnic will see the painting for free.

On 1 May, the Palace on the Isle, the Old Orangery, the Myślewicki Palace and the White Pavilion will be accessible for a free visit as well.

The programme of the European Picnic will also feature concerts, horse shows, parades of military and police bands as well as family games and outdoor attractions.
