Do you know which playwright King Stanisław August Poniatowski especially admired? Discover the emotional power of Shakespeare’s texts, using Stanislavski’s method.

Through exercises focused on objective, action, subtext, and personalisation. By working on a monologue, we will explore how to transfer emotions from the page to the stage – with truth, depth, and a personal connection. Or perhaps it is all just a dream?

This workshop is ideal for audition preparation, drama students, and anyone eager to combine classical text with naturalistic performance.

Program includes:

  • Selection and rehearsal of a short Shakespeare monologue;
  • Text analysis using Stanislavski’s techniques;
  • Work with inner monologue, emotional memory, and physical actions;
  • Presentation of the monologue with genuine intention and stage presence.
