You are invited to concerts, opera and ballet performances as part of the “Baroque in the Royal Theatre” series by Warsaw Chamber Opera, which will be presented until the end of May 2016 in the Royal Łazienki.

The next concert is as early as on 3 January 2016. The audience will see outstanding soloists of the Warsaw Chamber Opera performing opera arias by A. Vivaldi and G.F. Handel.

The programme of the musical series of "Baroque in the Royal Theatre”, which is designed to present baroque music, will be accompanied by the dance of the Court Ballet "Cracovia Danza” led by Roman Agnel and specializing in performing historical dances.

All the events will include the participation of the Period Instruments Ensemble of the Warsaw Chamber Opera "Musicae Antiquae Collegium Varsoviense” (founded by Stefan Sutkowski in 1957). Currently, it gathers young musicians who graduated from leading European universities in the field of historical music and who mastered the art of performing on copies of historical instruments. Thanks to a very wide and still growing selection of instruments they can perform repertoires from around year 1600 through late baroque and the classical period following the requirements of the old style.
