Closed gardens of the Royal Łazienki

Domicella Bożekowska’s animalistic sculptures and drawings reflect her fascination with nature, her talent and her impeccable technique.A temporary exhibition of her works is on display at the Cantonists’ Barracks – the first such representative presentation of this eminent artist in many years.

Heliograms by Nicolas Grospierre are displayed at a temporary exhibition in the Solomon Room at the Palace on the Isle. Derived from the power of light, colour and matter, the works fill in the blanks left by Marcello Bacciarelli’s paintings destroyed during World War II.

The surroundings of the Monument to Fryderyk Chopin at the Royal Łazienki Museum, the world’s most famous Polish monument, will be revitalised. The work will include the renovation of the basin, the conservation of the plinth and the enhancement of selected items of greenery. 

The historic gardens of the Royal Łazienki Museum are a sanctuary for many wild species. Visitors can encounter them during walks and sporting activities. You are kindly requested to abide by certain rules when dealing with animals.

The Royal Łazienki Museum lit up with Christmas and New Year sparkle. The Chinese Alley is decorated with stylish light illumination from the gate on Agrykola Street to the gate on Gagarina Street.
