The Night of Museums in the Royal Łazienki
Visitors are invited to the Royal Łazienki for the Night of Museums on 20 May 2017. During several evening hours, it will be possible to see the Royal Łazienki in an interesting, nocturnal perspective. Numerous attractions await visitors, including a concert by the Motion Trio band.
Baptism of the Royal tulip
"Royal Łazienki" – it is the name of the new tulip cultivated in the Netherlands for the Royal Łazienki, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The official baptism took place on 12 May 2017 in the Palace on the Isle.
Emir of Qatar and President of the Republic of Poland in the Royal Łazienki
The Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, who paid an official visit to Poland, visited the Royal Łazienki together with President Andrzej Duda. An official breakfast was held in the Old Orangery on 5 May 2017.

The display of the painting "Ariadne Abandoned by Theseus", by Angelica Kauffmann, initiated the German Season in the Royal Łazienki. A preview of the Exhibition of One Painting took place on 1 May 2017 in the Palace on the Isle.
Royal Łazienki awarded with "Accessibility Leader" prize
The Royal Łazienki has received a prize in the "Accessibility Leader" contest for the adaptation of the Old Orangery to the needs of people with disabilities. The official awarding ceremony took place on 27 April 2017 in the Presidential Palace.
The Royal Łazienki - a haven of fresh air in Warsaw
The air in the Royal Łazienki is considerably cleaner than in other parts of the capital, according to a research conducted by the team of Professor Stanisław Gawroński - a phytotechnologist from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences. The numerous trees form a barrier against pollution.
Tawny owls hatch in the Royal Łazienki
This year, in the Royal gardens, two tawny owls hatched inside a hollow in an old alder tree. This bird species is under strict protection.

Poems in the City. Exhibition in the Open-Air Gallery
From 1 April to 28 April 2017, the Open-Air Gallery in the Royal Łazienki at Al. Ujazdowskie in Warsaw will house poetry. Works by several European poets will be displayed on exhibit panels as a part of "Poems in the City" project.
The White Pavilion and the Water Tower will regain their past splendour. The project has received funding
The Royal Łazienki Museum has succeeded in obtaining funding for conservation and renovation works to be carried out in the White Pavilion and the Water Tower. The official signing of the agreement took place in the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage on 6 March 2017.
Another revitalisation project at the Łazienki
The former Inn at the Royal Łazienki will become more environmentally friendly. A project of thermal improvement will start this year owing to funding from the European Funds granted to the Museum by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management.
‘Poland – Visit More – Weekend at Half Price’. Visit the Royal Łazienki cheaper
From 31 March to 2 April 2017, admission tickets to the buildings of the Royal Łazienki will be available at a 50% discount. The Museum has joined the ‘Poland – Visit More – Weekend at Half Price’ campaign launched by the Ministry of Sport and Tourism.
"Among Muses". Theatre workshops for children
If you want to discover the magic of theatre with your child, join the new family workshops in the Old Orangery. Workshop participants will acquire acting skills while having fun in the process. The first meeting will take place on 5 March.
Professor Zbigniew Wawer appointed as new Director of the Royal Łazienki Museum
The Minister of Culture and National Heritage entrusted the duties of Director of the Royal Łazienki Museum to Professor Zbigniew Wawer as of 1 March 2017.
Secrets of Łazienki Gardens. Guided walking tours
All those who would like to experience something exciting during March weekends are invited to walking tours around the royal gardens. The Łazienki staff will show you less known corners of the gardens and tell about their extraordinary history.
‘Reading time in English.’ Workshops for children aged 1-3
The youngest ones and their carers are invited to workshops where children will discover the English language in a light-spirited, fun atmosphere. The first meeting will be held on 21 January.
