Due to strong winds, the gardens of the Royal Łazienki Museum are closed until further notice. We ask for your understanding, as during bad weather walking along the forested alleys can be dangerous.

Domicella Bożekowska’s animalistic sculptures and drawings reflect her fascination with nature, her talent and her impeccable technique. A temporary exhibition of her works is on display at the Cantonists’ Barracks – the first such representative presentation of this eminent artist in many years.

Heliograms by Nicolas Grospierre are displayed at a temporary exhibition in the Solomon Room at the Palace on the Isle. Derived from the power of light, colour and matter, the works fill in the blanks left by Marcello Bacciarelli’s paintings destroyed during World War II.

The surroundings of the Monument to Fryderyk Chopin at the Royal Łazienki Museum, the world’s most famous Polish monument, will be revitalised. The work will include the renovation of the basin, the conservation of the plinth and the enhancement of selected items of greenery. 

The historic gardens of the Royal Łazienki Museum are a sanctuary for many wild species. Visitors can encounter them during walks and sporting activities. You are kindly requested to abide by certain rules when dealing with animals.

What do we love the Royal Łazienki for? A new exhibition at the Officer Cadets School shows what moves thousands of visitors to this site most. The leitmotif is delight – the emotion that arises during an encounter with the beautiful and the unexpected. The exhibition can be explored through many senses: sight, hearing, touch and scent.

The Royal Łazienki Museum lit up with Christmas and New Year sparkle. The Chinese Alley is decorated with stylish light illumination from the gate on Agrykola Street to the gate on Gagarina Street.

The weather is favourable for outdoor activities. We take this opportunity to explain why bicycles, scooters or roller skates are not allowed in the Royal Łazienki. Animals which you take for a walk with you are not allowed here either.

The changes taking place in the nature at Łazienki do not stop, so we must keep studying it and  learning about it. In order to find out more about our gardens, we invited almost sixty people to participate in the BioBlitz nature project.

 ‘Sfera con sfera’ – the monumental sculpture of the fiberglass by Arnaldo Pomodoro, one of the most important contemporary artists, is on display at the Royal Łazienki Museum. It can be seen in the Modernist Garden at the New Orangery.

Play different roles, have fun and relax, expand your knowledge, create individually and in a team in the new creative space ‘What are playing here?’, which draws on the theatre world of Stanisław Wyspiański. Children and adults are welcome.

The fascinating history of the Royal Łazienki gardens as a place that influences the senses and imagination is presented in the temporary exhibition ‘Life of the Royal Garden’. It is a colourful narrative about the garden’s hitherto unknown history, its social and cultural function, and the everyday life of its residents and employees.

Feel invited to the 66th season of Chopin Concerts in the Royal Łazienki, which will start on 11 May 2025. Recitals at the foot of the Monument to Chopin will be held every Sunday at 12.00 and 16.00. Hear pianists of worldwide renown, including outstanding musicians of the younger generation.

The impacts of recent climate change have become particularly acute for the historic gardens of the Royal Łazienki Museum. Due to a warmer and drier climate, and strong winds, the protection of the historic vegetation cover has become increasingly challenging.

The Royal Łazienki Museum is a symbol of Warsaw which most strongly anchored in the consciousness of Varsovians and residents of surrounding areas, according to a survey by Difference firm, carried out as part of the ‘2023 Development of Creative Sectors’ programme.

The exhibition was created to commemorate the 120th anniversary of the publication of ‘November Night’, which Stanisław Wyspiański wrote after a short visit to the Royal Łazienki Museum. The exhibition explores the writer’s aesthetic and literary inspirations and the stage history of the famous drama. The exhibits on display include, among other things, photographs, theatre posters, as well as costumes, props and fragments of stage decorations.

Following further expert assessments in the historic gardens of the Royal Łazienki Museum, grass rest areas have been designated.
